Sara earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Augusta University and her Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University. She is licensed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Sara has experience in clinics, homes, and school settings working on a multitude of skill acquisitions. These include verbal behavior, functional communication through vocals, sign language, and augmented communication systems, basic living skills, potty training, food acceptance, joint attention, and play skills. Sara is also experienced in decreasing challenging behaviors such as tantrums, self-injurious behavior, aggression, latency, and more.
Sara enjoys spending time with her friends, and traveling home to see her family when she isn’t at work.
